New Trends in Smart Manufacturing-Wireless Demand for Flexible Manufacturing
Since entering Industry 4.0, wireless technology has continued to innovate and develop. Modern smart factories can have a large amount of production capacity with only a small amount of manpower. Modern factories are equipped with a large number of intelligent/automated equipment, which has also given rise to the trend of "flexible manufacturing". Industrialized computer systems are used to adjust production line processes to meet diverse customization needs.
In response to the trend of smart manufacturing, Grand-Tek Technology has invested more than tens of millions of Taiwan dollars and continued to purchase new testing equipment. It has a laboratory-grade antenna and microwave anechoic chamber, which is equivalent to the world-renowned network companies such as Cisco and The Antenna Company.
Smart factories rely on wireless transmission to connect various automation equipment, usually using the ISM frequency band, which has longer transmission distance, better anti-interference, and other characteristics, such as the LoRa frequency band. Grand-Tek Technology has corresponding LoRa antennas that support 433 MHz (global), 868 MHz (Europe), and 915 MHz (North America) and can be used indoors or outdoors. In the future, 5G and Wi-Fi7 will continue, and Grand-Tek also provides new generation Wi-Fi tri-band antenna and 4G/5G antenna options.
